Keith Cordier

Pastor Keith J Cordier Sr. is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. In 1982, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. While in the Marine Corps he served in many capacities throughout the U.S. and around the world. He was transferred to Kansas City Missouri in 1996 to become a Career Recruiter. Towards the later stage of his Marines Corps career, he received the call to preach, while attending Ebenezer AME Church in Kansas City, MO under Rev. Steven A Cousin Sr, and decided to retire from the Marine Corps after 20 years of dedicated service.

 

Pastor Cordier attended Central Missouri State University and received his Bachelor of Science in Special Education in 2006. He was employed at Ozanam as a School Teacher for students with exceptional special needs. During his tenure of teaching for (10) years, he took his first charge of pastoring (2002) St. Luke, in Salisbury Missouri, and subsequent appointments of Ebenezer/Grant in St. Joseph Missouri, and Cain Grant AME in Kansas City, Missouri. While pastoring Rev. Keith Cordier went back to school to earn his Master of Divinity from Saint Paul School of Theology in 2012.

In September of 2012, Rev. Keith Cordier Sr., was ordained as an Itinerant Elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Church, by the Rt. Rev. Bishop T. Larry Kirkland. Rev. Keith Cordier’s last appointment as an AME Pastor was Christ Our Redeemer AME Church, Kansas City, MO.

 

God called Pastor Cordier to a new Mission in his pastoral duties in a Non-
Denominational Church. In 2019, Pastor Cordier was obedient to the heavenly vision of the Lord and started a new work under the name “Agape Discipleship Community Church”.

 

Pastor Keith is married to Angela Wills-Cordier and is the father of three sons: Keith Jr, Mario and William. His family has expanded with the addition of a daughter-in-law; Shantelle Cordier and three grandchildren, Giovanni, Gianna, and Marielle.
